Kuroda’s One-Year Deal
The Yankees officially added right- handed pitcher, Hiroki Kuroda, to their roster. Last season, he was 13-16 with a 3.07 ERA in 32 starts for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Kuroda figures to be behind CC Sabathia in the starting rotation. He owns a 41-46 career record and a 3.45 ERA in 115 major league games since ’08. He had also drawn a level of interest from the Red Sox before the agreement that the Yankees could take him. Sorry Boston, but, the Yankees win once again!

I’ve been a die-hard Yankee fan ever since I was very little. My favorite player is obviously Mariano Rivera. There is a very good reason that. Long story short, I am a softball pitcher and in 7th grade I was at the point where I was about to give up, but looking up to Mariano Rivera who was a closer himself made me stick with it and it changed my life till this day.
